Chris Steinlage is a full time Certified Professional Business Coach and a Principal with Aspire Business Development. Serving the KC Metro Area, Aspire is a Firm dedicated to the success of small to medium size businesses through coaching, strategizing, consulting, and training. Chris is a Certified Value Builder and is member of the Professional Business Coaching Alliance (PBCA). Chris has been married for 32 years and lives in Overland Park with his wife Terri and their 18 year old daughter. He is a graduate of Kansas State University, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Mechanization.
Prior to owning his own construction equipment dealership, his professional path started in management in the food processing industry in the southeast, where he was instrumental in implementing new procedures to reduce maintenance downtime and increase flow by incorporating more structured processes in equipment maintenance.
The opportunity to get into the construction equipment business turned into a journey that continues today. Chris excelled in sales and sales management while living in the Carolinas. Eventually he had the opportunity to purchase a dealership in Oregon, which he grew nearly 350% over an 8 year period, before deciding to sell the business in order to move his family back to his roots of NE Kansas. He currently serves on a couple dealership Board of Directors, a 501(c)(3) Board, and also serves as the Managing Director of the North American Dealership group he was once a dealer member of.
While owning and building his equipment dealership, Chris and his team earned a solid reputation for developing people with good leadership skills in whatever their capacity was within the organization. His dealership was a Mark of Excellence dealership every year of ownership. Chris has “hands-on”, “real life” experience in every aspect of buying, owning, and growing a business including: Planning & Strategizing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Human Resources, Financial Management, and Development of Systems within a business.
Today, Chris is helping other business owners take their businesses to the next level.
